Here’s what Generosity looks like

One of our values at Forest City Church is generosity. Just as God was so generous in sending His Son to die for us, so we want to be generous with what we have in return.

Paul puts it this way in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”  

At Forest City Church, giving is a way of life: Funding ministry so others will hear the good news; caring for the poor and marginalized around the world, partnering with like minded ministries in our communities, and blessing those who need our help. We are generous because God commands us to be and gives us the example of His generosity of grace toward us.- Our conviction is that you cannot outgive God!
