Our Mission, Vision, & Core Values

Living Life Together in Christ

At FCC, everything we do is guided by the mission, vision, and values God has called us to. They remind us of where we’ve come from, point us toward where we’re going, and keep us centered on Jesus along the way. Together, they shape how we worship, how we grow, and how we serve—helping us live out the story God is writing through our church family.

“They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the LIFE TOGETHER,
the common meal, and the prayers.” — Acts 2:42 (MSG)

Empowering people to embody LIFE TOGETHER through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Life Together Vision

We strive to be a multi-ethnic, egalitarian community anchored in love, grounded in Scripture, guided by the Spirit, and passionate about helping people experience Life Together in Jesus’ name. Our vision reflects the transformational power of the Gospel to unite diverse people as one family in Christ, demonstrating to the world that Jesus is the Son of God (John 17:23).

Our Core Values

  • “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”— 2 Timothy 3:16

At FCC, we look backward at the inspired word of God and to our own experience of God so we can know his immutable character and wisdom and have grateful hearts. This is vital to our deepening love relationship with Him.

  • “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” — John 13:34

We believe at FCC that as we move forward as apprentices of Jesus, we will always be better and stronger together (multiethnic & intergenerational) — rooted in Christ and marked by love and hospitality.

  • “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6

At FCC, we believe that experiencing the presence of God is the goal for our lives and that we should be desperate to experience His presence and, listen to His voice and experience His power. With great reverence, we abide in His presence, extending our worship and praise in celebration of His greatness.

  • “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”— Romans 7:15

At FCC, we must all work to become aware of what’s going on inside of us and discover why we do what we do. We believe the journey to becoming whole is in loving God with everything that we are — heart, soul, mind, and strength.

  • “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”— Matthew 5:16

We believe at FCC that we are to live as those sent out to use what we have (our story, suffering, time, talent, spiritual gifts, etc.) to bless others, share His truth, and be a force for good, justice, and love.
