Join us for I Love My City, a churchwide day of serving our community! On Saturday, October 3, we’re stepping beyond our normal routines and serving side by side on projects throughout Rockford.

We believe the Church is at its best when we’re not only gathered for worship, but also sent to be a blessing. God has blessed us so that we can bless others, and I Love My City is an opportunity to put that calling into action in practical ways.

This year, we’re partnering with local organizations that are already standing in the gap for people throughout our community. Every day, these organizations meet practical needs, offer support, create opportunities, and bring hope to our neighbors. We get to come alongside them with willing hands, generous hearts, and practical acts of care.

Serve with your family, Life Group, volunteer team, or a group of friends. Choose a project, invite someone to join you, and let’s love our city together!

Start the Day Together

Before heading to our individual serving projects, everyone will gather at Forest City Church to kick off the day together.

7:30 AM — Doors Open & Volunteer Check-In
Check in, connect with your team, and get ready for the day.

8:15 AM — I Love My City Volunteer Rally
We’ll gather to talk through the day, celebrate what we get to be part of, and pray together before heading out to our serving locations.
