Dee Coker is the lead pastor at Forest City Church. He and his wife Michelle met while in college in Pensacola, Florida. Michelle is from Dayton, Ohio and studied Accounting. Dee grew up in both Okeechobee, Florida and Knoxville, TN until going to college where he met Michelle. They married and have been serving God together ever since. Together, they have worked with youth and college students as well as pastored churches in North Carolina and Michigan.
The Cokers recently moved to Cleveland following God's leading to work in church planting with NEO360. They have two boys, Canon and Christian. They love the outdoors and the Cleveland sports scene.
Matt Jones is the City Catalyst for Forest City Church. Matt and his wife Stacy met at the University of Dayton, OH while serving together in a student-led ministry called Campus Crusade for Christ and attending Apex Community Church. They married while in seminary at Louisville, KY and moved to Cleveland in 2007.
Together, they have served at four church plants and are committed to being a family that God uses to start new churches all over the world. Matt's involvement in NEO360, a local church planting network in Cleveland, has allowed him to see over 10 churches planted locally. Stacy is from Cleveland and knows Northeast Ohio very well. They have two children, Joanna and Evelyn.
Chris is the Arts Team Leader at Forest City Church. Growing up in suburban Cleveland, Chris gave his life to Christ and entered into bible college. Following his passion and call from God, Chris and his wife Jessica went to college at Kentucky Christian University, where he majored in Music and Bible. They then moved to Illinois, where Chris served full-time at a church while attending graduate school for a Masters in Worship Studies.
In 2009, they felt God calling them back to Cleveland to get involved in church planting. After serving with Velocity Church in South Euclid for two years, Chris and Jessica felt called to advance the kingdom in Cleveland through another church plant, Forest City. They believe that the vision and mission of Forest City, as well as the target area, fit their gifting and personalities perfectly. The Rupprechts have two daughters, Nataleigh and Mia.
